Frankie Adams, owner of FC Adams Islander Stucco Systems, Inc., Inc., for over 25 years and native to Ocean Springs, “bought a boat,” as they say, and changed the course of his life. Looking for a way to outfit his own travels, Frankie decided to open a place of his own. Islander Outfitters was born in 2014 with General Manager, Trish Goins, and store manager, Addison Wade. A local following quickly developed, and though they moved locations a couple of times, their customer base never wavered. Now, they have settled in a spacious location with a modern warehouse feel that suits their style and has plenty of parking.
Islander Outfitters is a place to shop for outdoor gear such as tackle, coolers, Yeti accessories, and more. They also carry a wide range of casual attire for men and women, adults and teens. Tailoring to the needs of their customers, the clothing lines have increased and women’s styles are much more represented than in the early years.
