GOALS:
Day One & Two-
To motivate participants to develop a grant writer or grant leadership team in their district.
To gain knowledge about grant opportunities available to school districts SPECIFICALLY 21CCLC After-School Grants, Homeless Education Grants, Lowes Toolbox for Education Grants, Target Grants, Walmart Grants, Dollar General Grants, Literacy Grants, Science Grants, Health Grants, Donation Requests/Magic Letters AND MANY, MANY MORE GRANTS FOR SCHOOLS
To gain a basic overview of grant writing and provide information to introduce grant opportunities to staff through professional development opportunities.
To eliminate concerns about the difficulty of grants & follow up reports.
To send participants back to their school waving their own magic wand by giving them the tools they need to encourage district staff to begin writing grants to secure funding for their district.
Day Three -
To apply what you learned in day one & two.
To have hands-on grant writing assistance.
To complete a grant of your choice, an easy grant introduced during day one, before you leave the training.

Day Four :
To give supervisors the tools they need to write effective personnel improvement plans.
To show participants samples of effective improvement plans.
To send participants back to their school ready to improve ineffective staff.
