Featuring a full marathon, half marathon, 5K, and Kids marathon all wrapped up in a multi-day race with a fun festival as the post-race party.
Event Details
Des Linden, the 2018 winner of the Boston Marathon, will join officials race weekend to be part of the Third Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon. The California native became the first American in 33 years to win the women’s category. She also competed in the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, representing the United States in the marathon for both games. Linden now lives in Michigan and recently placed 6th in the New York City Marathon.
Linden will congratulate finishers of the half marathon and marathon Sunday. VIP participants will have a special opportunity to meet her post-race at MGM Park.
START & FINISH
The marathon will start near Henderson Point in Pass Christian, MS and the half marathon will start near Jones Park in Gulfport, MS. Detailed maps of both areas as well as instructions for race morning, can be found in the Official Participant Guide which will be posted online and emailed to all registered runners prior to the event weekend.
